These are pictures from the two Climbing-Camps with the Swiss Alpine Club in autumn 1997 and 1998 at the river Ardèche in France. Our aim was to improve our climbing knowledge far away from home in a very nice region. A report of this camp was published in our local club magazin.

This is the Chassezac, a small river next to the Ardèche. It looks like a canyon and there are hundreds of installed climbing paths. It's a real paradise for climbers. |

The autumn 1997 was very rainy and we couldn't sleep well in the tiny tent. So my friend and I decided to spend one night in the trailer of the van. This is in the morning and he is very angry, because he couldn't get sleep. I just woke up when I took this picture. |
